The DSU is partnering with the Palestinian Students and Scholars at Risk Program (PSSAR) to support Palestinian students and scholars affected by genocide in Palestine, helping them access education and resources at Dalhousie University and other universities across Canada.
This is one of the biggest fundraisers in DSU’s history, and we want to ensure it reaches as many people as possible.
By contributing, you are helping to provide financial relief to Palestinian students facing tuition and living expenses, support academic inclusion and a welcoming community at Dalhousie and across Canada, stand in solidarity with Palestinian students and scholars in their pursuit of higher education, and assist students in escaping genocide to find safety and stability to pursue their dreams.
The fundraiser is open to everyone and anyone who wishes to contribute.
Last Update: February 1st, 2025
Our starting goal is to raise $30,000, which will provide funding for approximately 15 students. This will cover admissions and tuition fees, visa and travel support, housing and living expenses, and other essential needs to ensure a successful academic experience.
(Donations made are eligible for tax deductions.)
We are committed to working hard to assist people in need and ensure they have the minimum living requirements, including: clean water, education, food, shelter, and healthcare.
We hope for a world where every human being has access to all basic life necessities to live with dignity and security.
