Zakat Al Fitr
Zakat al-Fitr is a charity given before Eid al-Fitr to purify one’s fast and help those in need. It ensures that the less fortunate can also celebrate Eid with dignity. The donation, typically in the form of staple food or its equivalent value in money ($15), is obligatory for every Muslim who can afford it.
